Ramblings and Philosophy

The Ramblings and Philosophy videos discuss many issues that you will deal with that do not neatly fall into something that can be gone over in a class format.  I talk about Firing Clients, Why Poetry is Important for Geeks, How to Determine if a Venture is “Worth It”, and more.

    Hey Eli,
JAM! here loggin in for the first time. I stumbled upon your videos on YouTube and I thought I’d stop in to say thank you for providing such awesome videos. You’re talk about perfectionists had me laughing but I realized that gettin bogged down by the details can hurt progression in business. I appreciated your talk on building business partnerships but I really liked the talk you did on TCP/IP. That talk in particular was actually the info I was looking for originally.

A little about me: I am currently in the process of putting together a business model to handle multimedia design and possibly pc repair/configuration. I am in a job retraining program designed to teach me about web server maintenance and security. I had been in retail for 13 years and now know that that is not the place to be. I’ve always loved computers and finally built one I can be proud of. I am in sponge mode right now tryin to learn all that I can as to succeed in the IT industry. Because of that I have been on the lookout for useful info and as far as I have researched I like your programs the best. So all in all I just want to say thanks for doin what you do. Hope you and your crew have an awesome week and I will never forget rule number 1 … I will never talk about hack club! Lol
    See ya,
