JW Player is the Best Embedded Flash Video Player
While building EverymanIT.com I researched and tested a lot of different options for playing Flash Video files for the site. I found JW Player by LongTail Video to be the best.
It works very well, they give you more support then other options, and their list of plugins is terrific. You can use the JW Player for free on personal sites, or it’s only $89 to buy the Commercial License.
We use a number of plugins including one that tracks our video usage in Google Analytics, one that presents video ads before our classes, and one that presents the text overlay ads every few minutes during our video classes.
We’ve been using JW Player for over 6 months and are very satisfied. They do need to work on their support documentation, but if you submit a question to their forum they will get back to you in about a day.
